It’s here – what you’ve been waiting for! No, not the school holidays, but our Great Yorkshire Day Family Treasure Hunt. Allow yourselves a good 2 hours, or more if stopping en-route for refueling!

This walking treasure hunt takes place in Otley town centre. Complete at your leisure (you have a week, but be careful, one set of clues may not be accessible on a Sunday!), and why not call into one of our lovely pubs/bars along the way for refreshment!
The prize for the winning entry will be a £50 family meal voucher at the Rose & Crown!! What’s not to like about that! Massive thanks to Stephen at the R&C for contributing. Prizes also for 2nd and 3rd and also, yes, a wooden spoon prize – all will be revealed when the answers are in! Anonymity will be maintained if requested 😉

Completed entries can be scanned and emailed back to info@otleypubclub.co.uk or dropped off with Steve at The Rose & Crown, Bondgate, Otley – please remember to add your email address and Team Name to your answer sheet. Closing dates for completed entries to be with me is Wednesday 3rd August (so be careful to leave plenty of time if posting!) Winners will be announced, along with an answers reveal, at our monthly Social at The Rose & Crown 8pm Thursday 4th August. Winning team names will also be announced on our Social Media platforms.
You will be navigating your way around the town. Please carefully use official pedestrian crossings where available, but there may be occasions when you need to cross the road not via a crossing – please take care and watch out for those in your team!
The first round is a picture round where you have to identify the locations of certain features. Some questions have been labelled as “General Knowledge” so no visible clues for them! Watch out for the tie break question at the end!
There are no “trick” questions, although, of course, some are harder than others. Every effort has been made to be as accurate as possible. The organisers decision is final!
